Hi guys, fitted my 2.4 manifold today, the main difference to note on the Vec C though to Astra and VX220, is that there is no fpr take off to fit, so the one way valve is not needed (P.S. I have bought one with the extra take off if anyone wants to buy it?), you will need some servo hose to fit onto the brake servo piping to fit onto the large takeoff on the front of the manifold. (Had to be clamped down with the help of a jubilee clip onto existing pipework)

And a final touch was the courtenay badge...

how does the fuel pipe system work on your vec C, I notice there is only a single fuel pipe :?

There's not many of us with the cherished Courtenay engine plates. The picture on the Courtenay website is of my engine.

Vocky...I was told that the difference is that the fuel pressure regulator is located by the fuel tank? The injector rail as you can see does not have the take off, but a blank. Therefore I didn't need to have an additional take off on the servo.

I'm sorry I can't be more in depth, not really sure what you want to know? That and I am not 100% clued up 😃

Well in Vid, just popped out with the torch and my rail is the same as yours, one question did you have to take the rail off or was there enough room in the C.

Its hard to describe the difference, haven't driven it too much yet, best way I can describe it is it makes the car feel lighter? Although as others have said it seems to rev more freely higher up the revs, I think it feels better throughout the rev range? Maybe a placebo effect though?

Totally agree Vid it seems to rev right up to the red so much easier than before... 8) showo..
