My car is overdue for an oil and filter change but i have a slight problem. My car is fitted with the DBilas Inlet Manifold which happens to sit directly over the top of the oil filter and hence i can't remove it without taking off the manifold which i don't really want to do as i'm not very skilled when it comes to cars!
Ive just had the car at Vauxhall and they want £125 to change the oil and filter because of the extra labour involved. The mechanic i spoke to there thinks they'd be able to get at it from the side by removing the battery but he's not sure until he's had a go. There may not be enough room to pull the filter out.
There's no way i want to pay that amount of money though! Does anyone else have the Dbilas manifold on here or know how i'd be ableto do it myself or even somewhere that wouldn't charge me the earth to do it? 🙁
