Evening …. I have a question you guys maybe able to help with … I have 07 Vectra Sri 2.2 I bought a few months ago …. It’s had new chain and rebuilt pump but there’s still a problem . if I go over 3k the spanner light comes on some times goes into limp mode most of the time not… if I stop and switch it off the spanner light goes away … now the previous owner removers the silver disc on the side of the engine as it was leaking and replaced it with a straight rubber hose …
Now I know the silver disc is to do with fps would this cause fuel starvation and cause the spanner light to come on? …. Car starts perfect every time runs nice
No fault codes other than misfire cylinder 3 only once the spanner light comes on other than that no codes
