1998/9 corsa B sxi 1.2 16v, arden blue.
i got the car as a cheep run around while i was rebuilding my vetra B z22se's engine which was my project car. after the vectra was back on the road i decided to fit a 2.0l engine to the corsa so oppeted for the x20xev as there no need to chop any metal work to fit it. idea was to build a fast every day car and keep the vectra for 'sunday best' an idea that soon went out the window!
Sadly this little car is now in car heaven. her heart is going into a Nova, some other parts will make their way on to other projects I have.
Exterior
cobra daytona seats, sabelt 4 point harness, rear seats and belts removed, crome door handles from vectra B, metal monkies stainless steel dail faces coustom made so rev counter goes to 8000rpm and 7-8k lights up red when it reaches 7k.

X20XEV (ECOTEC) from 1995 Vauxhall Cavalier GLS.
1998 cc bottom end, skimmed cylinder block rebored to 87mm with Cosworth 12:1 high compression pistons, Saenz con rods, ARP rod bolts, ARP main bearing bolts, genuine Vauxhall oil pump, Mocal 16 row oil cooler, under piston oil jets in crank case, lightened and balanced crank shaft, light weight balanced flywheel, alloy crank pulley, Piper Cross air filter socks, Jenvey 45mm direct to head throttle bodies, 60mm Jenvey ram pipes, Astra VXR fuel injectors, Glencoe adjustable fuel pressure regulator, Sytec up rated fuel pump, 3.4 bar fuel pressure, Kentcams EC2002 278* road/rally camshafts, Kentcams adjustable cam pulleys, Kent hydraulic cam followers, Kentcams up rated valve springs, Kentcams titianium valve caps, reworked cylinder head ported and gas flowed by Cosworth, matched inlet and exhaust ports to manifolds, LMF Z20LET Phenolic inlet manifold gasket, Elring steel head gasket, genuine Vauxhall cylinder head bolts, Denso Iridium spark plugs, Magnecor plug leads, Etech alloy oil catch tank, K&N crank case breather filter, Lexmaul stainless alloy exhaust manifold and down pipe, DEI exhaust wrap, 200cpi sports cat, custom made exhaust system 50mm bore, Scorpion Imola rear silencer, Mtech off side engine mount and rear engine mount spacer, DTA S40PRO ECU custom rolling road mapped by Stealth Racing UK Ltd.
