Pc to Tv issue

I recived my pc to tv lead yesterday and today I fitted it. I put the male to the tv to the male connection to my pc monitor. When I go into the pc setting on my tv it's shutting the tv off dunno.. . I have removed the lead for now. Have I got it in the right place? The back of my pc monitor has two male connections. One is going to the pc tower and the other is a spare and I am sure that goes to my Lcd tv notsure.gif

My PC to TV lead goes from the back of my GFX card to the scart on the TV.

Mine is just the normal blue male x2 lead. This is the rear of my pc..

I presume you have got a 9 pin d-sub connector male to male.

All depends on your G-card.

Each have seperate software to enable video modes. It is much easier to use a laptop as they have inbuilt video splitters.

I presume you are connecting to your other monitor via DVI.

Just to test is unplug your current monitor, plug in the VGA lead in to your TV and the other to your PC. before you do this make sure your res is 1024*768.

and see what happens
