Hi there. I have an f23 gearbox on my veccy which is very clunky and stiff getting into and out of every gear. Ive tried new oil including fully synthetic and had the linkage checked and double checked but to no avail. So, being the clever sausage that i am, i dug out my old f23 box which was on my old diesel veccy. So, before i go any further, does anyone know if the boxes are compatible? i dont give a monkies about ratios etc.. as long as the bugger works! I would imagine the meeting faces of a diesel block and mountings differ from the 2.2 but they are both f23's so maybe i'm lucky? Any input would be grand fellas. Cheers, Chris
