Site becoming hard to find?

Hi all
Last couple of days I keep having a little difficulty finding the site???
When on my pc no prob as on favs but at work or on one of my kids laptops I usually to find site just type in z22se and up it pops top of the list. Not anymore! search on altavista this site doesnt even make list, search on wanadoo, again not even on list, search on google there it is top of list!!!!!!!
Whats Hapening, is this norm (no pc bod). Thought I'd mention it as peeps might not even find this site!!!!!!!!!
Personally I wont this site to grow not disappear :? :?

Thanks for information, we certainlt don't want this forum to disappear from search engines 🙁 however search engines work in different ways i.e google uses a robot which finds links in webpages and jumps from page to page and everytime it finds a page google indexs that page, therefore the more times websites link to this forum the higher in the list it goes. Others use a different technique. One way for search engines to find you is to use a "robot.txt" file in the root directory on the website.
The key search engines are google and yahoo.
Sorry for going on a bit that is the basics. :wink:

well I've just types z22se into google, and were the first result! 😃

We only listed it on Google, I don't have a clue on how to list it on the other search engines notsure.gif . I know it is first on the Google search list 😃 . Cheers for the info 🙂

All search engines trawl the internet for all sites. It's not necessary to list them now days.
