Mark_Dj Why do they call the Sri Vectra Sri 150? We owners of the 2.2 should know we only push out 147bhp as standard. I wonder why Vauxhall called it the 150 :?: . All the 2.2's should be 150 bhp standard 😃
rick150sri I think its because VX use PS instead of BHP. Cars rarely produce the power that the manufacturers say they do.
Mark_Dj Cool, just wanted to know as they don't call the Sri Astra 150. Is the Sri Vectra 120 120bhp?
Matt Its because most engines are rated in PS which is a German standard. The 2.2 engine in the Vectra kicks out 150PS which is approximately 147Bhp. So now you know...
Mark_Dj Cool 😃 , I bet they are all a little different though. I would think some could be 150bhp and some a little less what..
Andy_Coupe Mark2.2 said: Cool 😃 , I bet they are all a little different though. I would think some could be 150bhp and some a little less what.. all engines are different, have you read this months Total Vaux? Couple of 2.2s on the rollers and one was pushing approx 153BHP as standard!
Mark_Dj Yes I have the mag, did he not have airbox mods? I wonder if a run in 2.2 with more miles would have more bhp than a low mile 2.2 engine? Or the other way round. I know mine feels fast with 104.000 miles on the clock rallygif
Andy_Coupe gonna try and get mine on the rollers and see what its pumping out, mods are veccy pipe with modded air box, courtenay filter and just added a cat back system. Since the system was added it pulls alot better in the lower revs!
