Cheers chaps.
I've re-read the haynes book and am not confident enough to give it a go next weekend as time is a precious thing and I can't be spending too much of under the car.
Saying that, I'm doing the ARB drop links this weekend, so I'll give it a look and see shat's what while I'm there. What puts me off is that the haynes book says of the engines married to auto boxes, that to prevent the crank from rotating while undoing the pulle bolt, you need to secore the driveplate using a bolt from the torque convertor. These are two things that the book omits to tell you where they are or what they look like. Doubtful I'll be able to undo the pully bolt with a free running crank.
