Been lurking in the shadows for a while! I thought i signed up ages ago (Pretty sure i did???)

I'm a member of OpelAus i bought my car about a year ago now and still loving it!!

I have a Astra SRi Hatch (Lucky b'ards you got all the coupes!!)

Its Ultra Blue!! Awesome Colour!!

BTW i used your how to for changing oil this weekend it was so easy to follow u am using Castrol Edge 0w30 car loves it![/img]

No more pics of the ICE not much more to see yet still need to install another amp and some fronts and backs.. showo.. No Spare either dunno.. hahahaha

In your banner up the top of the page there is a coupe with a bonnet extension and the roof strips are colour coded?? Where can you get there bonnet extensions from and is it easy and safe to paint the roof strips because mine really let the look of the car down at them moment they don't even sit right in the position?? Is that normal?

That's my coupe at the top. The bonnet extension is an imisher one and are availaible from Vauxhall (well in the UK anyway) And as for the roof strips they are colour coded standard on the coupe's but i wouldn't have thought they would be that hard to do yourself.

Ps what head unit are you using??

Kenwood unit with motorised face and colour screen and a cd player that doesn't play cds since it came out the box (Gotta take it back...)

I'll have to try track one of those bonnet extensions down they look awesome! Nice car BTW!!

G'day mate,

Nice looking hatch you have there. Very clean!
The side skirts - did you paint em, or buy it like that? Are they sanded smooth, or have slight texture? They look good.

I had them painted, didn't sand them down either.

They look great painted! I see other Astras with the black plastic skirts which are starting to fade and go white.. They look awful! Like mine used to hahahaha

Just make sure they get a VERY good clean before you paint them and maybe a quick sand to get all the dirt and other muck off!

Yes you should have the z22se engine fitted into your car. Hello and welcome from me 🙂

How's the timing chain in your engine 2.2T .. ? Might be checking that out if I was you.
