I have been hearing a small whistling/squeeking noise from around the left hand side of my VX lately.
I fitted a K&N 57i to it a while back but the noise has only just started. I suspected a split or crack somewhere in the intake system and upon inspection I was correct. The existing black plastic intake pipe (the one with the Maf and oil breather pipe in) had a small split in it. I have bodged it for the moment with some tape and some fibre glass paste :? which seems to have stopped it for the moment.
As I need to replace it I plan to do a Vocky/Luna style intake pipe from Samco elbows and straight pipe.
Can anyone tell me what size elbows and pipe is required please? I dont want to take the existing off to measure in case it splits again.
