after a few fone calls to various vx dealers managed to track down the gaskets
the part numbers are:
head to manifold - 9230949
manifold to downpipe - 24409332
about 13 quid the pair
got the manifold fitted without to much of a hullabaloo - only minor modifications to the heatshield (ie a big FO washer) and had to change one of the manifold mounting bolts for a shorter one apparently
Hasnt made a massive difference to the car but picks up quicker and ironed out a flat spot that i had a 1800 rpm, pretty much returned the low end torque that the 2.4 manifold took away
funnily enough the most noticeable differnce is on the motorway say whilst cruising at say 50, if you floor it, it really motors whilst normally its (on my car anyway) quite sluggish
hopefully its true potential shall be realised when the box of tricks arrives !!!
