I still exist
I acheived 205bhp at the wheels at superchips still using a autobox locked in third gear, with road resistance we acheived 137mph in third gear
Not bad for "top end work only" using standard throttle body
I have a programme with three core engines using three saab and two vauxhall heads each head is a different configuration
the core engines are 2.0, 2.2 ,2.16, using various bore stroke combinations
I will be carrying out power runs sometime over the summer probably "run what you brung" low key events at santa pod
I am committed to N/A only. the theoretical max for 2.0l is calced at 600bhp
the americans have acheived 550bhp using a large single throttle body
My aim is multi throttle bodies 4 x45mm dia tb's which are only 30mm deep directly mounted to head bringing the throttle spindle as close to the valve head as possible The fuel control system is dual injector with one mounted at the mouth of trumpets
I have also removed 40% of the rotating mass, allowing the bottom end to spin up faster
Lets see if we can beat the yanks!!!!!!
