Some excellent info here. Mine is a 1930's house, and is going on the dividing wall between ours and the neighbours, so straight into brick.

I was toying with the idea of also getting someone in to hang it for me, but for the prices they want, I'd rather buy an SDS drill and a few bits, get the fittting kit myself, borrow a couple of mates, and do it myself. Pay them with beer and a night on the 360
