In the standard form, as they not the same as the 1.8 Golf GTI?

I think they are all the same TT \ golf \ Ibiza all the 1.8 20V turbo engine.

I am suprised it is slow though! I thought standard they where about the same as the 2.2 about 150bhp?

Yeah, I think there are 2 versions, and the newer one has 180bhp, but the older one is just 150bhp

yeah that right sumthing like that 150 + dont know 1 it is but way lighter than an astra!

There's also the 220bhp version fitted to the Audi TT and the Seat Leon Cupra, it's all down to the head. Looking at the spec of the engine that thing has been well spec'd out. It should be well over 200bhp and weighing in lighter than a LET powered Corsa it'd be damn scary! Lot of car for the money
