car wont start

whats the process of a car starting up i.e turn key sends signal to ecu then fuel pump etc etc because my car wont start.

i have tried another coil pack- no effect
it's got new triple electrode spark plugs
it's got fuel
throttle opens up to let air in
and the thing thats been bugging me is that i dont get an EML( so not really sure if a fault/s will show up on a tech2)

i havent had the chance to get it on a tech2 (and i know thats the best thing) coz ive had other problems so money has had to go else where.

any help/advice in this matter would be great 🙂

u got spark there then or not ??? fuel cut off swich ? even tho fule cut off swich sum time is stops the spark ?

does the eml flash when cranking the engine over, if it does it's an immobiliser issue

if the engine spins over very fast it could be the chain notsure.gif

not sure if i got a spark, also where would the fuel cut off switch be?

i dont have an eml flashing coz that would indicate a fault if i'm right

my key has also packed up as it wont open/close with the buton or even disarm the alarm even if i put it in the ignition

all i know for def is it's very annoying

4got to say i can hear the fuel pump kick in when i turn the key, it tries to start but doesnt quite make it

so u use n a spair key then ??? if not the key packed up all 2gether ?

i only have the 1 key, the battery holder has come loose and i have to keep it in place with sum card to keep a connection.

if u had that much of a prob b4 with the key it sounds like its gev up the go? dunno..

right take ur coil pack out out the plugs out and put them in the coilpack earth them n get sum 1 to turn it over y u lOOk 2 c if there is a spark! keep ur hands out the just n case of a spark !!

i never had trouble with key as the battery came loose over a year ago and was working fine,

i'm thinking that the problem/s could be to do with any of the following:
crankshaft sensor
immobiliser
key
ecu(hope not)
injectors?

cud well b any of them! same as vocky said does it sound fast at turn n over or how it should b ?

it sounds how it should be albeit not getting there

ok well same as i said i wud start 2 c if they is a spark? on all 4 = not all over the place if so cud well b C/S dunno..

ive got a new crankshaft sensor so i'm going to try that and c what happens then

just 1 more question(for now anyway.lol) how does a car lose it's immobiliser code or a key for that matter as im just wondering if the key isn't telling to the immobiliser to switch off the engine wont start but shouldnt i get an EML notsure.gif or if the key still has the code but the immobiliser wont reconise it, it wont start dunno..

the eml flashes when the immobiliser is faulty and the engine is cranked
