Took a trip to see Benny to have my rattling chain changed to discover i was miles from disaster!!! Upon striping the chain covers off a few bits and pieces fell into the sump !!!!!!! Any way the bolt which holds the right hand side chain guide had loosened and had sheared off. Managed to get all the offending bis from the bowls of the sump and she runs like a dream.
Also discovered ( had an idea vx were talking pooh to me ) i was running an old chain and oil jet even tho vx customer services had told me on 2 separate occasions it was not an effected engine!!!!!
Anyway top man Benny, would recommend anyone to give this geezer a shout b4 u throw it into a garage . Job was done in a morning and very reasonable price using the new updated vx parts.
