Strangely the stock TB which does not seem to open wide open, reacts exactly like a boosted car TB
Maybe the 68mm (from a boosted car) does the same with being not wide open and flows a bit less than the wide open 2.4 one ? notsure.gif

I think its possible to move the pots from the 2.2 TB to the 2.4 TB, yeah you break the cover but thats not a big deal, just cut it loose with a dremel and glue it back on with some epoxy.
I`l give it a try when am getting home from work, in a couple of weeks :cry:

Don't forget that I also get the P1514 with my ported 58mm TB.

Still wondering what Ffoeg has on his engine except for the 2.4 inlet and 2.4 TB.

So far the SC TB's have been no problem on cars with breathing modifications (Vocky and Alessio).

I am not convinced this is a potentiometer issue. If it was there would be an error code refering to the feedback of the TP being wrong.

I really want to get this mod done on my VX but can't seem to find anyone selling the manifolds.

Is there anyone in th UK that has them on the shelf or is there an upcoming group buy?

Also I think I've seen the dipstick and ECU brackets for sale but I can't seem to find them anywhere now. 🙁

TMS had eight in stock when I went there just before Christmas. No idea how much they'll want but suspect it'll be more than the group-buy price.

I spoke to Jon this morning. He's just come back from a few days break away and the box of tricks has been bench tested successfully and is winging its way to England along with a few other bits and pieces.

Not long now hopefully.

Fantastic! cheers.. Did he say what exaclty this box of tricks was or what its likely to cost?

No info as to what is in it or what cost yet. I would imagine that the contents of the box will be a closely guarded secret if it works out okay on the car.
