Went to the shops earlier, got home.. parked the car up, turned around and long and behold a MASSIVE graze on the rear bumper.. so looks like someones kindly done a hit & run. anyone else experienced anything like this?

some people really do not have respect for other peoples property, no note or anything on the car! so damn fuming!

shops closed now but i can almost guarantee theres no CCTV, but going back in the morning to see if anyone heard/saw anything.

so thats the wing mirror glass and rear bumper in the space of two weeks.. what a lovely end to the year.

cant really tell if i need a new rear bumper or if it can be repaired, will have to take it to some bodyshops i guess.

will take pics tomorrow

Had simialr with my vec.....but the car that done it was still paked next to mine,(cudnt have got in mine anyway it was so close)so waited for the chap to come back.....

Was doing a tricky man hoover the other day, backing out of a drive on to a single lane road.
iTS XMAS and all the taxi drivers are flying around like nutters and yes Bang !! the fcuker wacked mi motor,although its sligtly scuffed my o/s rear bumbper its cracked my light and a bits fell out.
His car has a nice gouge down the side starting from the n/s passenger rear door straight over the wheel arch and beyond.
So my bumpers pretty tuff and his car int ha ha ha, just hope i don,t hear anything im happy about forgetting it.
So brings me to my next point of that i need a o/s rear light fro my Astra Sri 03 if ya know anyone who,s got one, (tinted) cryb..

Had something similar when i first bought my vec. Guy swung into my car when it was parked at Tesco's, then drove off as i was coming back to it. Someone saw him and pointed him out to me so i went and confronted him. He admitted it and said he'd pay for the repair, got his address and everything then showed up the next day with 3 quotes, the cheapest being £200. He then started getting shitty with me saying it was partially my fault for not parking perfectly inbetween the white lines etc etc

After a heated discussion about how he had driven off from an accident and how I'll get the police + insurance involved if he doesnt pay up etc etc he swiftly cut me a cheque for £200

I work for tescos, not long after fitting my new GSi bumper, did someone in a red car score it and run off... was totally gutted just new on as well, like you say some people have no respect for other peoples cars!

yep i mean fair enough accidents happen but you dont just drive off!

dont even wanna bother washing it now as it just depresses me seeing it!

about 3 weeks ago - exactly one day after having my new V6 bumper fitted was following behind this woman - we pulled up at a set of lights and a bus cut the corner she reversed back without looking and bang into my new bumper, didnt do much damage just a big flake of paint came off by the number plate bit, as there was no witnessess the woman just said, do what you want, if you get anyone involved i ewill just say you hit me up the arse and promptly drove off !!!!

right sorry i didnt put a pic up my net went the day after as i was switching providors.

also sorry for the crap quality, not got my new phone yet, using a stone age motorola!

its worse than it looks, proper gouged the bumper!

EDIT-

Mates just been round and hes just noticed another long scratch on the passenger side arch, which is covered in a white chalk (PAINT) so looks like a white cars gone into the other side.

Unfortunately Porsche and Jimmy thats the way it works even if the witnesses gave a statement. The car behind pays for the bill in front unless cut and dry.
Had a new car years ago 10 days old, braked as some pillock up front stopped for a moggy on a major A road, all of us stationary with witnesses. Thought the car behing aint gonna stop, bang her third major accident in as many weeks commenting i only need the rear doing now, sorry. Any way lost no claims and paid for the van repair in front, her ins paid for the rear of mine, stinks.

Although most if not all above are done on supermarkets or similar, what these drivers like on the road? We are penalised for their bad behaviour in more ways than you can think about inc speed limits and reactions.
