lee733 just doing the chain on my car could any one tell me is the bottom pulley bolt right or left hand thread thanks lee

lee733 striped it all down to find it wasnt the timing chain snaped but the bottom end was seized so know on the look out for a new engine any ideas is the another engine that will fit as im in a bit of a tight spot thanks anyway 🙁
vocky with a good cylinder head you can rebuild a snapped chain engine dunno.. or flog the good head - £350 and buy a secondhand engine - £650 + new from vx is £1600 :roll:
lee733 hi thats great £350 for the head but theres only one place out of about 50 ive phoned thats got an engine and they want £800+vat and thats exchange so i carnt sell the head might just give up and sell the car spares or repairs on ebay thanks for all your help
