VX contribution not good enough!?

hi all
Read a few posts of how people have got 100% contribution off VX for the camchains, my 2001 vx220 is currently at vx dealers in northampton undergoing the camchain replacement.

After much arguing and telling them about feild rememdy 1532 i eventually got them to contribute all parts and 25% of labour, ( by the way i have full dealer S/H and only done 21K!) however as others have received full contribution i am still not happy with what they have offered.

Can anyone possibly send me any evidence or anything relating to their case as iv been told not to push them to much by the dealer ( they are being quite helpful! ) basically i would like to pay, get my car out of there then write a strongly worded letter with evidence of other cases, suggesting they reimburse me with full costs.

Just to let you know the car has been there since monday 17th dec they said it would be ready by fri 21st and its still not ready now! they have only offered me a courtesy car yesterday!!
i personally think this is absolutely f**king awful service!!
have only had the car two months and not the ideal introduction to VX dealerships/ CS! :roll:

the cost to the owner varies, some get nothing, others get it replaced free.

I have personally paid for two new chain kits, so got nothing from vauxhall.

Finally got my car back last thursday after 3 weeks without it!

In the end VX paid for all parts and 25% of the labour and the dealer W.Grose paid 25% of the labour leaving me with 50% of the labour which was: £284.
That included a service aswell, although admitedly they didnt have to do much as the oil and filter had to be changed with the cam chain kit anyway.

all in all not to bad i dont think although have to say that VX customer service is absolute SHIT!

u r lucky to have atleast got so much discount.....i tried a lot. nope !! nothing from them....u r one of the few lucky ones who has atleast got a partial discount ...
