silly question - but how do you remove the sidelight bulb ?

i know this is a silly question, i can produce full in car pc systems and complex wireing but i cant figure out how to remove a poxy sidelight bulb , i have the actual holder removed from the car that plugs into the loom but cant for the life of me get the bulb from the holder

is there something really simple im missing thought it was just push in pull out

you sure your not thinking of removing the holder from the car as thats what i did im talking about removing the bulb from this holder

heres the bit i mean , removing bulb from this holder tryed pulling pushng etc just wont budge ?

That's the same as the bulb holder from my wifes Zafira. The bulb just pulls out. I've got it in my hand now.

thats what i thought it just pulled out .. i have tried but it wont budge im guessing its just been in there a wile ... at least i know it does come out tho
