Few GSI vectra parts questions..

Im looking to increase my handling response to maximise corner potential.
Im trying to find out if the GSI vectra's steering rack is uprated at all to be quicker and more responsive?
On thinking that the question of would the GSI wheels help in anyway to grip more?
If you dont think they would help is there any aftermarket parts to improve those areas?

GSi suspension is lowered the same as the SRi150. Not sure about the steering rack though?

I've just upgraded my suspension for Bilstein B8 Dampers and Eiback Pro Kit Springs all round and a Whiteline rear anti-roll bar.

the gsi was built as a sri (and converted by msd), so the steering racks are identical

Ok thanks. Would the wheels have any advantages? Mines lowered on fully adjustable coilovers and fully poly bushed, im looking for a place in nottinghamshire or derbyshire to corner weight it.

it will handle better with gsi wheels, but the ride is slightly harsher

I dont think it would be any worse than with the 18's ive got on now :lol: I literrally have about a CM of space between tyre and arch :lol: They are also a bit heavy and im looking to reduce as much weight, it goes around corners aswell as my Mini cooper but it doesnt do tight corners as well but im hoping to improve that more.

the standard gsi wheels should be perfect for you cheers..

18's tend to be like that on a vec B, 16's are a little soft, but 17's seem ideal

Anyone know of where i can get some MK2 GSI wheels from? Once i get the handling sorted im going for more power but its a toss up between supercharger or throttle bodies as im still looking for ones that fit :lol:

ebay for the recaros, they are quite rare :roll:

none on ebay at the moment 🙁
