Electronic throttle with multiple TBs

Hi,

I'm being more and more drawn to Thorney's TBs and his exhaust manifold, but a little put-off with the cable throttle, so: -

There isn't much more effort required to turn four butterfly-valves that for doing one. I reckon I could take the standard Z22SE TB and either "cut-off" the drive-motor and feed-back mechanisms and rehouse them to drive multiples OR, duplicate the whole design using new and uprated bits (the best way I think).

Trouble is I just sold my spare TB thinking I'd never use it! Anyone got a loaner I could borrow?

I really want itb's but I'm not too bothered about having a cable throttle.

The tms itb's are quite good value at the moment, making your own version will cost a similar amount dunno..

I am in the same process, we are currently cutting the OE TB and we should CAD our ITB manifold with the single TB motor fixations in mind (but it won't be before summer I think)

When you open up the standard TB, can you tell me the details?

e.g. type of drive motor (manufacturer and number would be brilliant), and type of feed-back mechanism? Piccys maybe?

The motor is maybe either a stepper-motor or a dc motor with gearbox...

I'm sure that the feed-back mechanism will be a passive-bridge of some sort, so I could work out a lot of it from measuring at the plug.
