Vehicle Status - Unlicensed ??

Hello, i want to buy the Mrs a cheap run around, so she does not have to depend on me for her supermarket rounds.

I was checking a few cars out and the tax info of them on DVLA vehicle Enquiry Website.

Can some one tell me what it means whe the

VEHCILE STATUS - UNLICENSED

( I beleive, its not taxed nor declared SORN, would it be possible to tax it at postoffice as normal? )

I thought there was scrapped as well, licensed, sorn, scrapped?any one of them 3 dunno..

Unlicensed means no tax currently.

It has no road tax as above...

sorn mean keep it off road e.g offroad bike or sum thing like that my motor bike is sorn! but u can put it back on road no probs !!
