bloody hell! mines not been that bad yet, i used about half a can of de-icer the other day doesn't work too well IMO notsure.gif

Mine has been like that wed thur and fri last week Matt. I dont bother with de-icer too just the old scraper for me.

I went to fetch the wife from work at 6pm, and it was -2 then as well. Bloody freezing

Yeah been really cold here as well came home from work this morning and it was -3 job keeping the car clean just now with all the grit on the roads :cry:

I know, my car is disguisting. I've not cleaned it since moving house just over a month ago, and there are all sorts of nasty things in the boot. Might give it a clean tomorrow depending on the weather.

This time of the year is when you need remote start showo.. Mind you it doesn't get as much use now it's garaged :roll: showo..

i'm really considering remote start, probably a bit late as we're half way through winter now, but would be a good feature anyway.

only thing im told is it can void part your insurance? the cat 1 part i think? but ive been told some insurers dont like them at all.

edit,

could i add a remote start to my car? as its the standard alarm from factory? can't find any info on the net.

I always tent to just start the car up and let that warm the screen etc. Doesnt take that long.
