jamesjohn wow !!! thats good pricing mate. For the oils, probably one of the cheapest ever.... I might try them after couple of months I just bought some castrol edge 0w30 from halfords ( btw, they have an offer on magnetic oil, buy 4litre and get the 1litre free) . oil filter and spark plugs from vaux dealer. so will do it tonight after collect car from MOT. I read so much about how some garages advertise saying they use premium oils but end up using inferior oils. Not every one can say what oil is in the engine...I am some one who gets paranoid about things. Always worry if the garage use approved parts or if they have done all that is included in service schedule...lol... I am learning about cars....Will be getting a ramp soon...
Sjdickso I am the same, they may just pump any old stuff they have in from a conatiner. Just thought it seemed cheap, esp if it the genuine stuff. Places like that though you can watch over the fitter making sure parts are replaced etc.
Sjdickso Yeh i normally get Ac Delco fully synth for about 15. Just saying for that price if you was buying from halfrauds it's not a bad price at all.
evocarlos it was only £35 quid at the stealler not so long back and that was done for you oil and fileter changed
Hexstatic 30 quid is alot for magnatec isnt it ?? its 26 quid for 4 litres at my local BP garage..... im well interested in using 'Lucas' oil next time, it seems to be rally good oil, allthough im not sure about the winter monthes......
