Drop Links (Vectra B)

I had an advisory on my MOT a few weeks ago. I had a bit of play in my O/S front drop link so I thought that i'd better get it sorted. I bought 2 new ones this week so that Courtenay can fit them when they've got the suspension dropped ready for the new stuff. I wasn't keen on them being silver so I decided to paint them tonight with satin black Hammerite.

I had to make a 'special' tool to hold them so that i could paint them. (Block of wood with a hole in it!!) pmsl..

I think they'll look rather nice against the Yellow Bilsteins and Black Eibachs.

As of this afternoon the suspension has been fitted. Spoke to Jon when I got home this afternoon and now its just a case of waiting for the inlets to arrive!!
