mine booked in for 11/dec ...tue . The only time it ever failed MOT was 3 years ago when I did the mistake of taking it to a local vaux dealership. Front suspension struts they said. i did not trust them and told them i would get it fixed / retest elsewhere. they did my head in, scaring me of the dangers of driving it etc etc... and legal issues blah blah i know nothing about cars. It was driving smooth...no probs at all. I was shocked. it cost me £600. I have never ever spent a pound over MOT test fees ever since..and never received an advisory !!!.never ever to the dealers again...
