<u> * * Nurburgring Trip - Easter 2008 * * </u>
There is a trip to the Nurburgring being planned on VVOC for around Easter time. Currently we have 15 names down on the list (many more to come hopefully), I'm sure everyone will be bringing friends in other cars so this isn't just a trip for Vectra's, everyone in anything is welcome !!
I feal the time has come for me to start a thread on here for us 2.2 owners. I know for a trip of this magnitude we all need as much notice as possible. We have about 4-5 monthes to get everything organised, should be enough time 🙂
It is from Heathrow, roughly 380 miles to get there. So not that far at all, I expected near double that when I first heard of the trip. So no more than 900 miles in total, including getting there, laps of the Burg, and getting back.
It is £49 for 4 laps, you will need insurance for the ring but that's something to get sorted closer to the time, and is easily done via the Nurburg website. Breakdown cover with the AA is £42 for one week. Most insurance companies include European travel in their policies, but only Third Party, with me for Fully comp for the trip its and extra £20, pretty reasonable...
So thats enough of me talking, lets get a list going for people who are interested, closer to the time a 'For definate' list will be set up. I know there will be alot to discuss, so lets get it all going 🙂
