Why on earth didn't vauxhall fit a switch for traction control in ALL cars?
Went to donington park on sunday as there's a track day there every weekend now (free of charge too) thought seen as i live 2 motorway junctions away i'd have a look.. got there had a good time saw some impressive racing.. got in the car to head home being one of the last to leave, just as you come out of the exit theres a field, was a load of other cars coming the other way so i pulled slightly onto the field, guess what, i got STUCK! i mean ffs the mud wasn't deep, nor was it very wet but nooo thats not good enough it has to keep me there.. managed to reverse a bit and ended up going even further onto the field and yep even more stuck than i was before as it wouldnt let me reverse or go forward.
Not only was it the end of the day where everyone had gone home (so no one in sight) but it was getting dark/late aswell..
so got out had a look, knew there was f*ck all i could do as it was too heavy for me to push so got back in the car while i decided what to do, luckily three of the guys who were on the track were very late leaving and were fixing something on their car outside the entrance (which i couldnt see) and spotted me, so they all helped push me back onto the gravel.. so if it wasn't for them i'd of been stuck until i could of got some mates there or phoned the AA..
what a dumb thing to happen though, it'd rev upto about 1.5k then just cut all power as soon as it slightly started to spin with the tc light on disco mode, it wasnt that deep so if i could of maintained a low rev i'd of got out easy!
now im going to order all the bits i need to fit the bloody switch!
