I've recently installed the new Ubuntu distro on my new laptop.
I have to say, this is the first time I've actually used Ubuntu, as I'm more familiar with Fedora, and I'm very impressed. Wireless did work out of the box, but I had to install ndiswrapper to get it to work better. The nvidia graphics card was also picked up straight away, and "just worked"

The visual affects are far superior to Vista when set up correctly as well.
