Sorry about the poor description,

Mines starting to look a little worse for wear, have to be real careful when I wash the car so not to snag it as it`s starting to bubble and come away. Are these avaliable from Vauxhall or anywhere else dunno..

Due to not knowing what to look up, Ive had no joy Googleing it.

Any ideas, cheers..

the B post sealing strip, available at vauxhall, it will crack again within the year :evil:

Are you on about the rubber strip inside the door as vocky has mentioned or the sticky trim on the outside...

The B pillar rubber is a weather seal and the Carbon Effect strip is a decal. Both are available from the main dealers.

The carbon strip decal needs to be removed by using a hairdryer to soften the adhesive. To aid positioning of the new one, make up a solution of water and a squirt of washing up liquid and spray it on the door surface. You can then apply the new decal and position it and then squeegy out the bubbles. I've done 2 now.

My rubber strips have split big time too. How difficult is it to replace..?

The carbon strip decal, sorry chaps for the delayed reply, (Top Gears on) ta for the info,..... but yeah the dreaded sealing strip is also none too clever.

The rubber weather strip is just held on with the same sort of plastic pop clips like what hold the door cards on. You should be able to just lever away the seal and push on the new one.

Cheers.... Its not too bad at the mo, just dont want the car to start looking tatty.... not feeling the love at the moment for the silver beasty. :cry:

Same here, my sticky trim bit is creased at the bottom on the driver side !! Also, my weather seal is crfacked and in two pieces all the way down, both sides !!!

Will new ones make it a little more quiet, there is a very slight whistle !!??!!??
