Firefox Resource Issue

I keep having issues with Firefox on my work PC. It basically grinds the PC to a hault. When I check the Task Manager, Firefox is using all the memory on the PC.

For example, there is a 2441M Commit Charge, and Firefox ends up using 2300M of that. I have to kill the process, and restart Firefox. This only seems to happen on my PC's at work. I don't know if it's a specific site which is causing it.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I've installed Opera for the time being until I can get my head around it.

Sounds odd matt i have not come across this before is it trying to install an update / plugin?, TBH i normally use IE.

OT but have you used Safari yet?

Nope, took me a while to get round to the idea of using Opera (it's actually really good!) Might give Safari a go as well this afternoon and see what it's like

Just installed Safari, and I currently have IE7, Opera and Safari running 😃

Safari does seem to be VERY fast at loading pages. Will report back later on.
