Say the car has been sat overnight and it has been cold say 3c and less. When i set off for my first part of my journey i have to go over a series of speed bumps. Once the car goes over the for few bumps it seems to go away, unless i go over a big one at speed which i very rarley doo.
My car did go through this before and me and matt put it down to worn ARB arms which we changed but since then we have not had any really cold weather to test this.
So anyone got any ideas what it could be.
The noise is really sharp loud squeak mostly on compression when going over the bump. Over the last month also when pulling into car parking spaces at very low speed the steering feels as if there is some play somewhere.
I have a mechanic have a small test and he said there is nothing wrong with the steering rack.
Could the ARB arms be worn again or is there a common bush that goes??
any ideas welcome cheers..
