Faulty MFD

Every time i turn the car on different lines are missing off the display then it works ok, then it doesn't...e.c.t can this be repaired? If not where is the best place to get a replacement? as i read somewhere that new displays have to be calibrated to the car otherwise it gives the wrong readings notsure.gif

Think they can be repaired but for the vectra they are cheap enough second hand and as long as you dont get the V6 display dont think there are problems with the info desiplayed being wrong. Should not imagine the same would not apply for the astra

Rang the local stealer this morning..........£274+vat for a new one! :shock:

There is a write up on Vectra Sport but I can't find it (although I downloaded it a few months ago).

Basically the problem is not duff pixels but the contact between the ribbon and the pcd corrodes and needs a clean.

Looked fairly straight forward.
