2_2SRi Is the coolant in the z22se mixed with water? Or Is it just 100% straight out the tub? Think mine is due a change thats all, ive got a feeling you dont mix it with anything with it being ally etc but thought I`d double check. Also if anyone knows any part numbers please let me know ? Thanks
RAMBIRKETT Mix is dependant one the make of coolent, will tell you on the container. As for type, its the red stuff you want.
Lightning_Coupe I'm sure it says on the container, just make sure you use the right stuff or you can rot the engine from the inside out. I read about this happening recently, someone had the wrong coolent in and the water jacket erroded through the cylinder head and started filling up the spark plug holes with water.
JohnnyN The genuine Vauxhall coolant is NOT pre-mix. Use 50/50 as above. The pinky/orange stuff is what you need. Its a bit confusing really. Courtenay use a blue mix which is correct for the engine yet if it was blue from Vauxhall then that would be VERY WRONG!! ;-)
2_2SRi Thanks very much everyone for your replys. I`ll buy some next time I call in at my Vaux dealer. Just wasnt sure if it was premixed or not. But now know. 🙂
