poormansporsche alright peeps on all of my cars ive always alternated one fill up with normal 95 and one fill up with super but the ole vectra runs really lumpy when i fill up with super, is this likely to be something to do with the ecu adjusting or something??? cheers Brett
dodger you normally feel a 1 off "hickup" as the knock sensor adjusts to the change in fuel type, but it shouldn't run lumpy all the time.
poormansporsche its really weird although i do only ever fill up with crappy sainsburys 97 ron super not anything pukka like optimax although i havent actually tried putting any super in since i had my TB cleaned - dunno whether this will make a difference
JohnnyN Mine makes that 'pinking' sound when I use normal unleaded since having the CS5. I always use Shell V-Power. Before it changed I always used Shell Optimax. I only gave the normal unleaded a go because the petrol prices went bonkers. Won't be doing that again. thumbup
