I fitted my 100Amp alternator and new belt and have finally got round to driving the car home.
However, the battery light is flashing, it goes off mainly at very low rpms with not much vibration and flashes very quickly at high RPMS. My initial thought was it was the battery terminals which never got very tight on the new battery, so I now have new battery terminals too.
I am hoping it is going to be one of the two connectors on the alternator which is not tight enough! I don't think the belt is slipping as the belt is pretty damn tight. Any ideas?
