Mark_Dj Does your 2.2 car spin sometimes when pulling away at junctions? Mine does then the traction takes over and stops it. Mine likes to spin quite easy when I put my foot down in places :twisted:
Andy_Coupe Yeah mine will spin in 1st quite easy but i dont feel the power loss. Now when i change in to 2nd sometimes it will spin but the power goes straight away as the TC kicks in. Although the TC kicks in in 1st there doesnt seem to be any power loss.
Mark_Dj The 2.2 is great fun 😃. I have just been out for a cruise in mine to get rid of the condensation in the engine. I was having so much fun tonight 😛

Mark_Dj I can't switch mine off as it's built on standard. I know we can do a mod to fit a switch :? :lol:

phil-h got a TC switch, part of the loom also will fit this weekend... be nice to say goodbye to "acceleration drag" when pulling into fast traffic 🙂
Stealth-SRi i want to get that tc switch aswell, it does my nut when it just cuts the power, makes me look a right nob when im pulling away to prove a point to the twat in his fiesta ripspeed next to me at the lights!

Blue_2_2 I have just replaced my shockingly s#ite no name tyres and standard alloys for Coupe turbo alloys and Yokohama parada tyres! They are fantastic, where usually i would wheel spin, its either eliminated or just chirps 😛
Gazza mine never used to spin then i fitted a t/c button and it is like a different car with it off. would recomeded it to anyone who doesnt have one in theres. thumbup
