what to do next ?

any recomendations on what to do next engine wise ?

so far i have done:

derestricted air box
fitted pannel filter
fitted veccy c pipe
removed the precat
fitted remus centre pipe.

i have around £1000 to spend what should i do next do you think ?

Why not try Nos? The difference is good, I seen this work on a car the other week and it's does work good! 🙂 Be the first 2.2 with Nos on here, the kit only costs about £350 max and it's safe to use, you can't over do it as when it's switched on it does all the work it's self, then turns off 😛 . You would leave a turbo behind 😛 , well it depends on what jets you use 🙂

the thing with nos is that its not there all the time.

and how long does it last each blast ?

I think it's like a fart, the gas comes out and then vanishes but it's a good boost of power then it slowly dies off, but your normal car speed will still keep you in front as you leave a car when you blast the Nos 🙂

I am sure we have a link in the web links section for wizards of Nos 😛 . You get different jets of Nos, say a 50 Jet will push you an extra 50 Bhp more from 150 to 200 with a flick of a switch 😛 ,

I recommend PiperCams, £235 exchange, give a good performance boost

ported head is also good, but quite expensive for the power increase

best improvement is the exhaust manifold, dbilas do a cast 4-1, but I imported one from the USA

my stainless manifold was £185 delivered from the USA, then @ £30 for the new section which I made myself.

power increase the same as removing the precat (5-8 bhp), so if you still had a precat - fitting the 4-2-1 would give @10bhp

but then the cat becomes a restriction and so the £££ mount up, but my ecu is getting used to my latest exhaust and it just gets quicker and quicker 😃
