What do these fault codes mean?

I have or had 3 fault codes show up on my sri 2.2 DTI (2001 model)

P1125 (3)
P0400 (5)
P1635 Glow device circuit general error

My mate cleared them all, but they will probably be back :roll:

Cheers Neil. Do you think the tec 2 would have cleared them up lol. Is that why my car takes a little while to start in the morning. It starts first time all through the day, just take a a little go in the morning

not sure with the 2.2 dti whether it has the same fuel return lines as the 2.0 dti, these leak after time and cause bad cold starting :roll:

I checked under my cover and they all seemed dry enough. I think I might be due some glow plugs

doesn't matter if they are dry, get them changed :roll:

Well most the codes have gone and all I have left is "P1635 Glow device circuit general error". My mate put it on his new Tech 2 computer again today and the other faults have gone apart from that one above. It takes a little starting up in the morning and my computer display flickers for a while and so does my interior light, once the management light goes out all is fine again :roll: . I am now getting fault code P1635 (A) notsure.gif . Early this morning my car started up fine (After work with 2 heats at 1:20am). This morning I gave it two heats and it did not fire straight off the button dunno.. . I have changed the glow plugs, changed the heater relay and now I am not sure what to do.

might be the glow plug controller, £35 ish from the dealer notsure.gif

Is that the big silver block that goes under the hood (Top of the Abs unit). I have changed that as well.

but in this weather the glow plugs shouldn't even be needed :?

might be worth changing the fuel return pipes and T pieces dunno..

like vocky says replace the Leak off pipe and t pieces have you replace the fuel filter have had troubles on some cars when the filter seals are perished and let air into the fuel line? And on the 2ltr dti they they are prone to injector seal problems which cause very poor starting might be a similar fault??

I think i will have to wait til pay day to get all that sorted out lol. I am a bit skint this month as my puppy rottie has cost me a few quid at the vets the last few week with a little issue he has. I have done a little video clip of how it's acting up, it's on it's way up now...

you need someone with TIS to find out the next step for the error code :roll:

it might be the 2 pin water temp sensor dunno..
