poundy phots show this morning what it looked like in 2 bits!!!! and the stages of work putting it right, including a couple of braces welded to the side to strengthen it. there was not enough room to fit an additional flexi.(now read the text at the end of the pics!!!! so drove home.wicked all fixed....then!!! just about to drive up to my flat and i hear a noise coming from the engine, and it sounds like the bearings have gone in either the water pump or alternator AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! LOL
vocky what you need to do next time ( :roll: ) is cut the precat section off at the flange, weld a flexi to the flange, cut the reducer off from the precat pipe, weld that to the flexi, then cut a section from the downpipe to get the correct length 🙂
