SYMON I need to check my timing chains, I know there is the cam and balancer chain. Can both chains slip? Or is it just the cam chain than would normally slip? If I do check both of them, will I need new gaskets and are they fairly easy to access?
vocky the balancer chain could possibly slip, this would cause a vibration in the engine 🙁 a new crank bolt and oil pump/chain cover gasket would be a good idea, the bolt is about £5 and the gasket about £10 from the dealer dunno..
