Looking at the build quality (I watched the build thread as well) I'd say it should be pretty reliable as a day to day drive, and fecking larey when you want it to be.

I do like that corsa C, may enquire with the insurance co (well maybe).

Neil my corsa was a great little car and i do miss it sometimes, i spent a fair amount on it too. The main thing was it had not power and driving 50+ mile a day it started to get a bit tied. The astra feels alot more solid much better car on the mway, also with the ICE in the back the boot was unuseable.
