jerking

hi all!!
i have had a problem with my astra for a while now and want to get it sorted!

when driving around its drives perfect not a problem but when i come to accelerate to speed up or over take, it jerks loads.
some times it does this as soon as i put the accelerater down and other times it will do it randomly?

its hard to explain , but it feels like the car is kicking out of cruise control???? i was thinking it might be a sticking throttle body????

any ideas to help me out????

it's worth cleaning the throttlebody and maybe check/change the plugs dunno..

i have already changed my plugs not much difference but did feel like it did it slightly less frequently!!
i will have a go at cleaning the throttle body and let you know how it goes i was thinking it could be that???

Maybe a blockage in the fuel line? notsure.gif

might be worth changing the plugs if it was slightly better, sometimes the plugs look fine but are breaking down internally dunno..

vx triple electrode are the plugs to fit 🙂

hi tim sri, i have changed the fuel filter cause i thought that might have been the cause but it still did it! but then it could be partially blocked injectors so i am goig to get hold of some fuel system cleaner,clean the throttle body and change the plugs see how i get on with that!

saying all that its not done it at all this week??? but i shall still be doing all the stuff as precaution!
