ive got my eye on the 222deg cams from catcams (thats the 1mm lift duration) which match the gm sports cams 88958636/7 in terms of general spec..... Thing is the build book claims the valve springs and retainers need upgrading to suit and cope with 7500rpm, thing is ive no intention of taking this stupidly stroked engine over 7K
will upraged springs and retainers be nessecary on this cam? (which incidently i think is rather girly compared to some cams ive fitted to cars over the years lol)
