Sticking rear brakes

Hi folks,

On my better halfs 51 plate astra mk4 sri the rear brakes stick in reverse ever so slightly and you get this strange noice (like when your drum brakes use to stick).

I've heard that vaux did do a recall on this and fitted a rubber damper to the handbrake levers on the calipers??

I've search high and low and cant find anything on it 🙁

Its drving me nuts :evil:

Has anybody else heard of this??? Or sean the memo?

I have had a few cars with the calipers sticking. The last one was an X reg Astra Sri. It was the front RHS sticking. It's probably best to get the caliper changed

yeah not sure which way round it is but Lucus or Bosch calipers have a known fault of being sticky.
