Matt I've agreed to help a mate from work replace his discs and pads on his 1.2 Corsa C SXI. These are the solid disk type. Does anyone know if they are difficult to remove, because on my Astra they are a piece of piss? Cheers
vocky should be similar to the astra to change, might be slightly different bolt sizes as the brakes will be smaller dunno..
2_2SRi Will be similar, ive just done the rears on my wifes 1.8sri corsa c and they were more or less the same as my astra.
Matt Sweet, shouldn't cause any problems then. At the minute there is no pad left on either side on the front, and it's metal grinding on metal!
Daz U'll need to remove the caliper carrier to remove the discs, and from memory the bolts holding the carriers on are rather large external torx style bolts....
Sjdickso How come you got roped into helping matt? I can not belive he is still driving arund on them from what you said that they are comp shot.
Matt As a favour mate. I'm suprised he's still driving around as well to be honest, as they are totally shagged. They are making a right squeel when he's driving, and it can't be safe.
