Wishlist.....

Right I am currently saving up around 2.5k - 3k so that I can mod my car all in 1 go (saves getting the spanners out twice).

A few years ago this task would have been easy due to the lack of tuning companies and options available. Now there are literally 100's of choices. For instance years ago to uprate brakes you just bought ebc, now there are all kinds of other makes, so I come to all of you for help and advice on what and where to buy. I plan to fit all parts myself so It’s more of a case of where to find the best equipment for the best prices.

So let me know what kit you would buy, have bought or think is a bargain and give your reasons for pro's and con's. Probably more importantly what to avoid....

Here is my list.

Uprated discs and pads (front & rear).
Braided Hoses.
Up rated Suspension (lowered around 40mm, and as the sky is the limit on price here I'm guessing around the £500 mark should see me with something descent, maybe??).
Up rated ignition leads.
Strut braces (front and rear)
Rear ARB.
Re-map.
Exhaust mods (can I just remove pre-cat? or should I buy a sports cat? or should I buy a manifold? or should I do all? or should I have a combination?)
Quick shift
Toe and castor plates?? (thoughts??)
Better than standard front and rear lights.

I appreciate all is probably not possible on budget, but what do you think I should get and what I shouldn't get?
I have to say I'm happy with speed, but handling makes me a bit nervous from time to time.

What do you think? Maybe offer other ideas.

Quick shift - fiddly to do, but worth the effort

Toe and castor plates?? (thoughts??) - extreme for road use, but do work wonders on the track

Better than standard front and rear lights - factory xenon conversion with parts from the breakers

Can I port standard TB?

I also want to put poly bushes in as the back creaks now and then.

2.4 manifold should be available to buy in the uk soon, courtenay or thorney motorsport hopefully will stock them 🙂
